In 1952 king started to think abut marriage. He asked a friend of his, Mary Powell to suggest suitable women that he can meet. Later Powell has told him about a young woman named Coretta Scott who was studying music to be a singer. Once, he met Correta, they meet each other but Coretta wasn’t ready for commitment, but then he won her heat and they got married on June 1953. After marrying they had four children, Yolanda, Martin, Dexter and Bernice. So he tried to spend more time with his Kids and wife, because he was busy with his work and running for civil right.
